We’ve discussed the importance of getting kids out in the fresh air and sunshine before -- it’s good for their development, for building strength, and… it’s sort-of how humans are designed to spend our time!

But… It's a hunting trip. Why would I bring my whole family with me?
There are many reasons to visit Hog Wild with the whole family! Our Lodge is a great space to relax after a hunt with your significant other and children. We’ve recently renovated our Lodge to include some awesome and fun amenities that your whole hunting family will appreciate! We continue to make upgrades over time, and are always working to improve this space for our guests and their families!
If big screen TVs with comfortable sofas/recliners to view them from aren’t outdoorsy enough for your clan of hog slayers, not to worry! There’s a catch and release pond out back that you can spend the day on while you wait for a hunt.
If you’ve got some folks in the family without a proclivity for getting their hands dirty, you might take a day and visit nearby Oklahoma City or Norman. There are tons of family friendly activities that we’ve outlined in our blog posts here and here for you to consider visiting!
Guided hunts are also a great experience for hunters of all ages. Our guide will be there every step of the way to ensure that all of our guests are comfortable, happy, and most importantly, safe!
When it comes to the kids, some of our favorite experiences at Hog Wild have been seeing young hunters in their first hunt. It’s a real honor to be a part of the experience that sparks a fire in young peoples’ hearts that is likely to last a lifetime!
